Alexa Cassandra Duimstra (Cass) is a DC area costume designer and technician. Currently she is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Costume Design at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.

She holds an MFA in Costume Design from the University of Maryland College Park and has been freelancing in the DC metro area for almost ten years. In this time she’s worked at Washington National Opera, Signature Theatre, Imagination Stage, Synetic Theatre and many others besides.

In her spare time she enjoys creating historical and fantastical clothing for her own education and amusement.
